Epos Now Update 2.51
Because Epos Now is a cloud based software package any updates are automatic. It ensures that your system will never become out dated and you will never have to pay for costly upgrades. New features are constantly being rolled out, some of these features are ones that are chosen and voted for by the users, and most importantly they are features that help you to run your business effectively.

Epos Now Labs Full Launch
By using deployment rings, we can now release new features to customers via Labs. This allows us to test the feature before making it a permanent part of the software.
We are now releasing Labs to all our customer following a successful launch to a closed customer group. This will significantly improve our ability to test new features before they become a piece of our core functionality.
You can install Labs here 9. Once installed, you will see Epos Now Labs within the set up page where you can enable features you wish to test.
Some of the features we currently have in Labs include:
- Multiple Choice Product Scanning/Searching
- Purchase Orders Based on Previous Sales
- Lost Focus Prompt
Barcode Scanning (Now in Labs)
If your Barcode Scan, or Search, provides no results the Till App will now provide a prompt to the user to indicate the action failed and to correct it. In addition, if you have a product that share the barcode, a prompt will appear to encourage the cashier to select the correct product.
To prevent loss of sales this feature will provide a visual prompt to the Cashier that their scan/search failed. This will aide businesses who provide a quick check-out service with the confidence items are not being given away for free!
We highly encourage you to also activate ‘Lost Focus Prompt’ to ensure your scanning is as accurate as possible.
